La novena edición del FIEC tendrá lugar del 18 al 22 de octubre, en la Universidad del Cine, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Con el objetivo de fomentar el intercambio de perspectivas y experiencias, tanto académicas como profesionales, en el marco de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en la actividad cinematográfica, el Festival Internacional de Escuelas de Cine lanza por primera vez su convocatoria a todas las escuelas de cine, video y televisión CILECT para participar en la nueva sección del Festival denominada Escuelas en foco.
Se trata de un encuentro entre representantes y estudiantes, en el que cada escuela seleccionada tendrá la oportunidad de presentarse junto con sus producciones y posteriormente debatir en torno a la tarea académica y asimismo ofrece la oportunidad a los futuros cineastas de intercambiar experiencias y conocimiento en un espacio que les permite la exhibición de sus trabajos.
Para esto, se llevará a cabo una selección que dependerá de una convocatoria abierta a todas las escuelas. El deadline para la inscripción será el 6 de agosto.

SCHOOLS IN FOCUS
In order to encourage the exchange of perspectives and experiences within the film learning environment, both from an academic and professional point of view, the International Festival of Film Schools is calling on CILECT film, video and television Schools to participate in the new section of the festival: Schools in focus
The event is intended to gather representatives and students. Schools selected will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and show their productions, as well as discuss academic issues. Prospective filmmakers will also be able to exchange experiences and knowledge in a setting that promotes the display of their work.
The 9th edition of the FIEC will take place from 18th to 22nd October at Universidad del Cine, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The selection will be performed based on an open call on worldwide schools. The deadline for receiving the applications is August 6th.
